I have a 2006 Electra Glide with the removable passener back rest. Can I get a tour pack to use the same grackets the removable back rest ( harley back rest) uses?
Does this come with the detach bracket? I didn't see this listed on HDRenagade's parts list for his SG.

No, in a nutshell...You have to get different "docking-hardware for the Tour-pak than for the backrest. I know cause I have both...Joe Mac
Sorry AB, I already had both front and rear docking kits on my SG. I think that the PDF file I sent you has the docking kit listed in it. That was the first price quote that I got from M&M, but I already had the rear docking kit on mine.
That's okay. Could you provide the part number? I want to ensure I have everything.
Also, are those chrome L bars needed that I see DI75 using?

The chrome-plated Detachable Rack positions a Tour-PakÂŽ behind the passenger pillion, and allows the passenger to use the luggage as a supporting backrest. Adjustable over a 3/4" range, the Tour-PakÂŽ can be located for maximum passenger room and comfort. Tour-PakÂŽ, Passenger Backrest Pad, and Docking Hardware Kit sold seperately.
Fits 1997-2007 Road KingÂŽ, FLHT, FLHX and FLTR models equipped with required docking hardware. FLTR and FLHX models require Antenna Relocation Kit P/N 76326-00A. Does not fit with Layback License Plate Mounting Kit P/N 53385-00. Some EU registration plates may interfere with Tour-PakÂŽ Rack. Models wtih rear fender tip trim can be adapted with seperate purchase of License Plate Relocation Kit P/N 60095-00A).
I just looked in the catalog. It looks like I will still need 53804-06. Now will this include the chrome L bars? My catalog says this and the docking rack is all that is needed for the FLHX.
