Have you tried a "0" map to see if it is the PC? I also assume you have the throttle position set properly? Turn off the acc pump if you are using it, it will goof up the map, set both cylinder trims to "0". And I assume you are using the 9 volt battery when installing your program from your laptop? Reinstall your map after all the above. The Dyno Jet maps are usually right on.
Also, the waythe PCwiring connectors aremounted allows water into the wiring harness, the ECM to the PClll connection.Got mine wet and it banged and popped around 2000 RPM for days. After trying several maps and going to a "0" program I pulled the harness apart and it had water in it. Dried it out with a hair dryer put electrical silicone on all the connections. Also tried to change the mounting so the harness would not lay horizontal and water stand in it.
You may have a problem with the PClll and it may need to be sent back to the factory for repair.
The folks at Dyno Jet are real helpful on troubleshooting problems.
