Default lindby bars

I'm looking at putting a set of these on an EGC for no other reason than I like the look. Has anyone done it? One of the concerns I've heard is that they may not be the best substitute for hiway pegs since there is no adjustment to your foot position. I'm 5'8" and obviously don't have long legs. Will this be a problem???

From what I have been researching, you can still put pegs on them as well if you want.

I know they also have the little flip-down foot pegs built in, but if diameter's the same as HD - should still have ability to mount any preference(s). Only issue would ever surface is if you wanted to add lower fairings someday...need stock HD bars for this option.

I haven't tried them on my EGC but I have s set on my Kaw Vulcan. Nice and good looking, too, but I did add a set of highway pegs for more positions while riding.

Had a set for several years on my V-Star. Great look, great quality. I'd certainly recommend them. Probably won't do them on my Street Glide due to wanting to eventually add lowers w/ speakers as was mentioned above.

You probably know, but Harley makes a similar design but I'm not sure if the fitment is for the touring models.

I had the top of the line lindby. It looked great. I am 6' and the flip down pegs were a little close for me, might fit just right for a guy your size or a little taller, depending on leg length. I found myself putting my feet on the top of the bar with my ankle laying on the bar or with my leg bent slightly and my foot on the bar. There was lots of different positions to put your foot and the bar looked great. I got rid of it to install lowers, but otherwise I was very happy with the quality and look of the bar. Hope this helps.

I got them on my Street Glide and love them. They look (IMO) way better than stock, and the foot placement for highway riding is perfect for me. The Harley version is just plain UGLY!
