I have a quick question about the value of a Harley radio. I am upgrading my stereo on my 09 Street Glide and I want to offset some of the cost by possibly selling my radio. What is it worth?
...probably somewhere between $400.00 & $500.00.
Of course, anything is better than nothing.
Put it up on eBay or Craigslist and see what happens.
Good luck.
Been watching head units for sale for last couple months. Mine has teh dreaded "cut out" from the vibration issues. Was going to buy a replacement..seen them anywhere from $225 to $400 for 2012 and 2013 takeoffs. Those in the higher cost ranges have not been selling.
Mine is currently boxed up and going to Iron Cross...for $250 they will fix it and warranty it for 2 years. Couldnt justify paying more than $250 for a used radio that may or may not work....and would not have a 2 year warranty.
Guess it matters how quickly you want to sell as to what it is worth...but $250 - $300 for an 09 that has been on a bike for 4 years should be in the ball park.
