Has anyone used the after market Sirius radio with the infotainment stereo in place of the $400 HD plug and play? I looked and seemed there isn't any bluetooth version, drats.

dont do it...I tried every thing sirus had for after market receivers on the bike and they all took a ****..

I went after market radio and then added the modual

o (if i did it again i would just get the hd modual for the stock radio

The module is 300 bucks from Boardtracker. Still painful, but that's the route I went.

Well I guess I'm not totally sold yet, I really don't want an attachment, I'd like it all part of the crappy radio but I guess I'll sit on my hands. Someone may come out with a great replacement radio.

I have an after market HU. Kenwood. Supports Sirius. Also Bluetooth. I put the Sirius app on my phone. And stream that way. Hand controls operate the seek. Channel selection and most other options needed. Good luck.

Couple of things to keep in mind. App uses data. Make sure your phone plan has enough. If you have an Iphone app may be loaded and already there. Can't remember if I ever had to load it. Good luck!
