+1....I have this...it works perfectly. I bought an audio cord that was sprung like a phone cord so it stays snug, but flexes in turns. Simple and cheap.
I use the RAM X-Mount; it's universal and fits 'em all.
Next phone - no problem. Even grips 5" smartphones.
Handy for those of us who change phones every year or two...
My concerns with the claw is only the possable vibrations i may hear from metal to metal contact. My son-in-law has the claw and loves it but had to add thin felt to stop the vibes.
My concerns with the leader are only the asthetics. I don't think it will look as nice from the back or sides as the claw. Not sure because I haven't found any pictures.
I don't want cheap plastic (arkon) or giant erector set (ram) mounts.
Hubby and I both have Leader mounts - his for an ipod and mine can hold anything if it has the belt clip (this does vibrate, but haven't had any issues with the electronics - phone or Walkman). We both love the mounts and think they are of high quality.
This is pricey but its what I have on my Roadie. Good thing about it is that it charges and plays through the radio at the same time. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Best looking one if you ask me. Price is a little high, but it was well worth it to me.
