I got the 8GB Nano. Holds something like 2k+ songs. $139.00 at Sam's Club. For a mount I just got the ram mount for it. All black..not pretty but it does what it's suppose to.
Hey Hogowner69..you like it mounted on the right? Mines on the left and about the only complaint I have is that the cable has to stretch over to the ipod...doesn't get in the way of anything, just kinda looks crappy that way.
I bought a 3rd gen black nano 8gb to use on the bike. Haven't yet. In fact haven't used it at all. But now I am thinking about getting an ipod touch to use as an mp3 player and for Sirius.
I have the 3rd gen nanos and have a Otter box armor case for it(water proof) and fully functional while in the case. Little hard to find the 3rd gen case tho.. wasnt on otterbox's website..
The 4th gen nanos are good too.. and otterbox has the armor case for them too(on their website).
Both can use a motorcycle ram mount for it.. several clone ram mounts around too.
Of course I now use my Garmin 660 for all my mp3s that my ipod had on the bike. Took off the ipod/otterbox/ram mount..one less mounting clutter now.
