Local Indy shop closed down last week I had planned on them.installing apes but now only option besides doing it myself is letting the dealer do it what do they.charge if I have the bars and cables
Probably $80 per hour for the job. It will take more time if you have fatter bars and want the wiring to be internal. If they have to change brake lines, that will add to the time due to adding of fluid and bleeding. One upside to them doing the new brake lines is that they can use the Digital Technician and ensure no air in the brake lines during the bleeding process.
That brake fluid is very hard on paint, so if you use the dealer, be sure to inspect your bikes painted surfaces before and after the job, before you take possession of the bike.

Most shops charge 6 to 10 hours to depending on the size / style on a newer bike with wiring inside the bar....
I did mine myself. It is a PITA the first time you do it. If you have a friend who has done it before ofer him many beers to help. Once you know how to do it it isn't nearly so bad.....
