..and that's why I don't care for Kuryakyn, all their chrome looks like the chromed plasticthat comes on cars and metrics.

If it's hazed from rubbing it with your leg, it doesn't matter if it's made by Kury or not. My advice is to just polish it up the best you can and let it go. If you really want a new piece then buy a new one but you are either going to have make a conscious effort to not rub it with your leg or plan on replacing the cover several times. Polish it up and don't worry about it would be my advice.
