Bag Guards On A Streetglide...

I have a 2012 Vivid Black Street Glide. I had the gloss black (H-D part # 49283-09 ) bag guard kit installed before I took delivery of my bike. As soon as I got it home I installed a set of Jerry Palladino's Pro-Guards front and back.
I can tell you, the bag guards WILL protect the bags and the Pro-Guards will protect the bag guards.

I was thinking the same thing with mine and just last weekend put on full bag guard/rails on my bike. Besides if you drop it over,, you need something to grab onto when you got to push it back up.

We just bought the wife a white gold pearl street glide and even though she is a great rider I'm thinking that at some point at a gas station or parking lot it is going to tip over slowly and rash the bags. I think for piece of mind I need to get her some guards.
