Default Last chance advice

Desparately need some advice from you baggers. I'm looking for a new leater jacket to replace my old Joe Rocket... 3 candidates: HD Competition II, Fox Creek Vented Racking (Naked Leather)Jacket and Chilhowee Naked Leather Racing. All are vented, heavyweightand have removeable liners and are similar styles. I want this jacket for all around riding.. cold and hot weather.. don't need the armor. Have any of you had any of the jackets? How do they work in cold and hot... how hot? Planning trips from Minnesota to Sturgis and Dallas this summer... previous trips to Sturgis.. removed the jacket and road in sleeveless shirt.... but always a little nervous about doing the road rash thing... of course with no helmut, probably the least of my worries :-)

From the research I've done, including opinions on quality and service from HDForums, Idecided to ordermy newjacket from Fox Creek. I haven't received it yet but it should be here any day.I can tell you the customer service was great over the phone. Probably not overly helpful to you but I figured I'd share my decision after an exhaustive hunt for a new jacket.

I have two jackets from Fox Creek and one is the vented racing jacket. I highly recommend them. They make a top quality product at a fair price and have excellent customer service. You won't be dissapointed. Their jackets tend to run on the small side, so you might want to order one size up.

I agree with Petemac, Foxcreek is top quality. Very good in cold weather but I remove it when it gets too hot out. Just too heavy even with the vents but thats going to happen with any leather jacket. If you decide to go with them call them first and they will explain how to measure for a perfect fit. I had to get 2 inches added to the arm length because of my gorilla arms and theymade it perfect. One size larger also.
