Default Tour Pac Racks

Any suggestions on Tour Pak Racks???? I am looking atthe HD Premium Tour-Pak # 53665-87 any pros or cons??? I like the looks of the Contoured Tour Pak but it looks like the premium will carry a larger bag easier.
Thanks ahead of time
Jeff

It's a question of looks or functionality. The premium gives you maximum area for carrying a larger bag such as the Dekker Supreme by T-Bags. I have that rack on my scoot and love it. I also have the DS bag. They work for me. You have to decide how you will really be using it.

The premium rack is great, and I think it looks good as well. I installed one several years ago, and I can use it to haul as much stuff as I can pile on it. More than once I've used it to haul luggage and two small golf bag (with clubs) from Ohio to Myrtle Beach. (caveat: my trunk is the older fiberglass model). If you don't like the looks of a rack, get a trunk quick detach kit and remove the whole thing.

Ive got the same rack and it is a great rack. The only thing I dont like about it or any other rack is its hard to clean and polish under it. But with a wife the rack is a must have.

www.rivcoproducts.com makes a nice looking t-pack rack. It is made out of billet aluminum and is triple chrome plated. It has the same mounting pattern as a stock rack. It is made in the USA!! They also have matching saddle bag lid racks.I have owned several of there products have always been happy with there quality and customer service.

Go with the premium rack for all the reasons everyone has stated. I have also used it for several years. The larger rack also help protect more of the tour-pac when you do carry stuff. You won't regret it.

How hard is it to install? I'm sure there has to be holes drilled, are they already marked or do you use a template? Inquiring minds want to know.
