Default air hawk or ?

Hi Guys
I have been riding these damn things since 1957 and am too old to stop. First bike a KHK. My iron butt is long gone! I have a 2011 St Glide w/sundowner seat. At 240 lbs. and no ***, I find I need a little more cushion on longer rides 500 miles or longer. debating between an Airhawk or a proair circulater (sp?). Thanks for any inputs.

My Air Hawk works good - touring size - it will raise you about 1/4 to 1/3 inch taller ... you put enough air in it by mouth to just get your butt off the seat - so your butt in not touching the seat and as you move your butt ever so slightly you will be moving your butt into other air chambers and will have a new feeling somewhat different from the previous - all the Air Hawk chambers are connected and vary in air pressure as you slightly shift around. Also - it gives the feel of sitting on slightly slippery gel - even though its just air chambers ...

I carry mine totally uninflated, it takes barely any space, and later I put air in it after a longer ride, you just blow some air in it with your mouth and let some out to where you like it. When its inflated it looks underinflated until you sit on it.

You could use it at home as well

I bought the Airhawk R (seen on the bike in my sig pic) after trying the MCC dual density memory foam bit and even trying a Hammock seat, but the Airhawk made all the difference. Once you get the air pressure right, it really makes a difference on long rides.

Bought mine on Amazon.

I have both and i can tell you the Pro air circulator pad works...i also have a sundowner.. i would use the airhawk for 700-800 miles days...less than that i would go circulator pad. If you get the air hawk make sure you do not over inflate

I too have the air hawk. I ride 100 miles and then put it on, then off for a 100, then on for a 100, so on and so on. Money well spent...
