I dont think there's an "easy" way. It all comes apart. Progressive "Drop In" kit is how I did it and it works well. I went down 1.5" on mine and still rides good.

I Just did 2" on my buddies 04' standard and a 1" on my 13' ultra using progressive cartridge kit. I suggest spent the 20.00 on the amazon fork nut cap socket with o-ring in it. It will save alot of heart ache. I wish the lower fork pinch bolts faces aft like on my ultra though. easy do it yourself job
