Default progressive drop in lowering kit

Have you guys used this new lowering kit from progressive? It supposed to be a breeze to install, my question is how good it is? and if I should go with this drop in kit or the regular lowering kit? thanks

You should do a search. Lots of us have it, and I think pretty much all of us like ours. I dropped mine 2", and with the SE heavy fork oil it rides great.

Hey there,

I just installed the drop-in kit from progressive. If you have a NT, then you'll need to access the fork bolt at the top. The fork caps alone won't let you access the springs in the fork. I just disassembled my front end completely and installed new chrome lowers and put the drop-ins in after some fresh fork fluid. There is a thread here that has nice videos on how to do it. You won't need to do everything I did, but at a minimum you'll need to either slide the forks out the bottom of the trees to access the fork bolt up to or take the upper tree apart and off to access the fork bolt up top.

Was it worth it? The ride is unreal now to what it was. I had the rear lowered at first and the front end was a bit squirrely when turning slowly and on tight curves. Now with the front lowered, everything is smooth, easy to handle, and much more streamlined. I absolutely love it.

Here's the good thread with videos:
