Anticorrosion Grease?
Thanks up front for the help!
My Street Glide is approaching 2 years old, and want to make sure she has a long, long life. I use S100 corrosion protectant and wash often, especially during the winter when residual salt may be on the road.
Question: Looking around the bike, there are bolts and washers/screws that aren't normally visible, but of course, still important. How useful or necessary is it to use a marine grade anticorrosion grease on those places where corrosion can happen? Some bolts are starting to get that white'ish look...beginnings of normal corrosion. Can this grease help protect those places...and is it necessary? Don't want to baby the bike, but I do want to do what I can to protect her.
Thanks again, and any other corrosion lessons learned would be much appreciated!
