Im wanting to change my front wheel but 16X3 front wheels for sportys are pretty much non existent. If I can use wheels from a touring bike I have more choices. My 48 has a mid-glide front so I do have some room but dont know if I have enough. Does someone know or can you measure the width of your wheel, hub face to hub face? One of the wheels Im looking at is pictured below.
Don't mean to hijack but what model is that wheel off of? Year? I like that style alot. I have spoked rims now and like them better than alot of modular wheels but would be nice to go to tubeless for obvious reasons.
I have a set of those 9 spoke wheels that came from a 2007 FLHP (cop bike), just like in your pic, minus the white walls for sale they have real nice "run flat" rubber on them. I would have to dig them out of my garage but can tell you they are 16" with 1" bearings included with only 7000 miles on the whole setup. First $125 plus shipping can have them.
If no one gives you the measurements you need by tomorrow, I'll do it.

From the inner metal axle hole lip to opposite lip is 6 1/2 in. Just replaced a 2008 wheel like pictured with a 2005 spoked wheel and they are the same lip to lip. Rotor pattern is the same on touring bikes.
OK Stroker23 gave you the measurement at the axle.
I didn't bother to clean these wheels up. I figure the shipping cost could be too much anyhow, from Canada. Here's a few pics.
No rotors come with these but the rear pulley does, if you want it. I won't break anything down to sell separately. Yep, those are **** in the last pic. LOL
