One warning about these kits......make sure you periodically check the rear T/P latch screws. Mine worked loose and I could've lost the T/P going down the road. Fortunately, I only lost a wave washer somewhere on the driveway.

Here are a couple pics that may help. When I installed this on mine I installed the tour pak mount first then mounted the tour pak on while the mount was still attached.

thanks everybody, yeah i finally removed the plate from the bottom of the t/p and did what you did BLKVLVTRYDR and then i realized how stupid i was. you know how you get something in your head and you can't see the solution for trying. again thanks you guys. it looks good and i can't wait until i can ride it without the tour-pak.

Yes that is correct. The front goes over the chrome spacers not the black portion that your backrest mounts to.
