I think everyone pretty much covered it for bars/parties/bands.. I will mention that the Razorbacks play at "Bank n Blues" on Main Street pretty much every weekend night and are a kickass show. The loop, St Augustine, and Ocala are musts for riding, if you wanna lay down some more miles Cocoa, Tampa, and Ft Lauderdale are nice destinations within a days ride.

IMO, you have to be acting pretty stupid to attract unwanted attention from LEOs in the midst of 200000+ bikers having a good time (the exception being speedtraps.. but obeying speed limits at a bike rally is common sense). I live less than 50mi from daytona, so Im there every bike week/biketoberfest. My and my buddies NEVER have any shortage of fun by any means, and my only LEO encounter was to let me know I forgot to turn on my headlight one day. Just enjoy yourself and dont be a jackass, all will be well...

Ride during the day to see all the venders and other attractions, then leave your bike at the motel or house and call a cab. They'll take you anywhere you want for the price of parking, and you don't have to ride back drunk in the dark.
If he does that he will have to stay in his room or just stay @ home. LOL
Visit all the Venues most of all Main St. at night. Watch out for the beer girls. When i say that i mean watch them as they get your beer for you. Camera on the ready.
Subscribed. Going to be my first time as well. Heck my first major rally at that, well other than ROT in Austin anyway.
Was wondering if there was some kind of shuttle that they offer to get to and from Main Street? Me and a few friends will be staying a couple miles up on A1A and don't want to take a chance at night after a few adult beverages on riding back to the condo.
Check out the antique bike meet held by the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. It's held the friday, saturday and sunday morning of the weekend starting bike week. It's down Tomoka Farms road (out by the interstate off Speedway Blvd)
