I've got the Zumo 660 on my 2012 Ultra limited to which I blue tooth my Iphone 4. It only allows phone calls to come through the garmin. I installed a sd card in the garmin with 18 hrs of music that I loaded it with.

I did not know that the Garmin had bluetooth. I guess I should read the directions. I also put a SD card in mine and use the MP3 player and XM for music.

I don't have a Garmin, but wouldn't Bluetooth be a mono signal?

Unless there has been a recent update, I do not believe it will work on the 660.

i looked online for any info on being able to bluetooth the phone to the gps but have not found anything on it.
my goal is to bluetooth to the gps so i can have pandora from phone through gps to radio & then i would be able to hear turn by turn commands also. i assume that it would mute the music when its time for a gps navigation command.

You may want to email Garmin support. I don't own a Garmin, but I have contacted them a couple of times via Facebook and their website for inquiries. Your question did spike another question for me and that is whether or not the GPS unit will transmit in standard bluetooth or in stereo bluetooth.

The Zumo's do not support A2DP. It just uses Bluetooth to send the directions to a Bluetooth headset.

I have the Zumo 665 with Bluetooth and Sirius. I got the 3 month promo for Sirius but didn't go for the monthly. I just use the sd card works great. I have the iphone 5 and hooked it up with Zumo 665 using the Bluetooth, works great with the Scala.
