can you listen to music from your IP5 through bluetooth & through the 665 onto your stereo?

Yeah as long as the aux port is connected to the Zumo

Spot on, no a2dp means no decent audio

According to this Garmin page the 660 supports a2dp, but....I am not sure whether it supports streaming in both directions - ie transmit or receive??

I just went to check my 660. I can connect my Iphone 4s to the bluetooth phone and make and receive call but no music. There is an audio bluetooth but it will not connect to my Iphone.

Sorry wasn't specific enough. It can stream music (A2DP) from garmin to a Bluetooth headset but doesn't receive it from a phone for example.

Has anyone been able to talk on the phone through the Zumo with the Harley seven pin headset on an Ultra Limited ? I have a 665. it pairs up fine with my phone but when making a call the sound comes through the headset but the microphone on the headset doesn't pick up my voice. I've discussed it with Harley and Garmin for countless hours and no one can figure out how to make this happen. It seems there is only a connection for the audio out but not for the mic in between the GPS dash mount and the Harley NIM module.

It uses the built in mic in the 665, I have stopped before when a call came in and with the bike off in a quiet spot it worked. There is a wire in the mount for external mic, worth trying. Mike

You have to get a BOMM and wire it into the mic circut inside the fairing. I have this and can make and receive calls while riding. I don't remember the web site that I got it from but you can search for it on the forum.

Yep, I have one too and the Bomm is what you have to have to get transmit audio for a phone conversation.
