Default Cat removed!!

I just removed the cat from my head pipe on my 2010 Street Glide. Thinking about getting Fuel Moto's Micro Tuner. Can;t wait to get it back together and take it out..

I cut small window out, pulled out cat, took wire wheel to it then welded patch back on. Took about an hour.

I did mine and i must say it is cooler on that right side. Cat definatly makes some serious heat. Well thats what its supposed to do. Performance wise you probaly wont tell the difference, just a little cooler and your exhuast not will get a little deeper. Cool, good job.

Do you have any kind of tuner on your pontiac69?

I did mine, added KWs slip ons and a screaming eagle intake, with a Power Commander V... holly cow what a difference. Wish they ran that well out of the box. Really woke the sleeping giant up. Runs so much better. Gas mileage is a little worse, but for the performance difference and the heat gone from the right leg, well worth it. You will be happy.

That would be my choice on methods as well. It eliminates fitment issues that some have wrestled with that chose to cut the header into two pieces.

Pipe is stainless, and we TIG'ed the window back in. I have done three so far and it is not a big deal. Makes the bike cooler, and with pipes a SE aircleaner and PCV you gain about 12 HP, loose the ping, and have much better response.
