I recently had my SG painted, i replaced the fairing gasket and am having trouble getting the outer fairing to come all of the way on at the curved area around the mirrors.
The faring seems to have shrunk
I am working in my garage and it is 60 deg. would the cooler temps. be causing this...any suggestions? thanks

 

Did you have the inner off too? If so, you might have wires that aren't right back exactly where they were and they are pushing the fairing out. Tighten and tuck all those wires.

for at 60 degrees things will be at their nominal sizes.
