Finally got around to installing the new Alloy Boltz show-polished stainless caliper bolts and pad bolts today. These are replacements for the stock hardware.

What's the torque spec on the socket cap bolts,can't seem to find it in the book.
They send a sheet with some torque specs down at the bottom, but you have to know exactly what size bolt you have and although I was pretty sure about it, I caved and gave them a call ref the torque specs. They said:
The 12mm 12pt caliper bolt torque spec is 36 ft lbs.
The #6 metric Allen head pad bolts is 10.7 ft lb or 128 in lbs.
When my Snap On wrenches clicked, it felt right. I used silver anti-seize on the threads of all bolts.

Those are HD chromed lowers. I have my stock lowers in a box in the garage.
Been real happy with the quality of the chrome and they have held up nicely for nearly 3 years now. I kept the stock lowers on one of my other harleys, but man it was a chore to keep them looking nice...and really a losing proposition because eventually they are going to stain with all the bug guts and stuff. So these days I generally pony-up for the chromed lower.
