The Road King Classic is a Road King with shitty leather wrapped bags. Don't get me wrong, I love mine but that leather is really tough to maintain and my bags are in bad shape compared to the rest of the bike. That said, the factory cruise control is great and I also love spoke wheels and tubes. Beyond that, what is the difference other than a few chrome pieces instead of fender tip lights?
Won't bother me if they discontinue the model, as long as they keep the King.
Stranger things have happened. The Lowrider was popular and it got cut. The Springer and Softy Custom were both popular and got cut. The EG Standard was very popular and got cut. Who knows what will happen and how they rationalize their decisions. Guess that is why they get paid the big bucks.
