I got no response from the Engine forum so I figured I would try here.
Any feedback out there on these? I was thinking this would be a quick way to assist with hot start issues using the SE255 cams; perhaps using one in the rear cylinder. http://bikerpics.org/product-categor...press-release/
I would rather not pull the heads until I am ready for a 107" upgrade, then I will have the heads ported, add MCR or ACRs, change cams etc.

Reason: fixed link
Looks interesting and easy to install, wonder what the negatives, if any, are........I would have to get rid of my super spark plugs that I paid $30 for, that's one draw back.....
First it moves the spark plug back and second durability I would question.
And the SE releases are only $85 a pair in the SE catalog.
If you are thinking of a FuelMoto 107" , they put manual releases in for $100 a pair including the releases.
The ez-release you asked about seem kinda expensive for temporary.
I know you want something now so just throwin it out there.

Yeah I wonder about that as well...I may call them.

I hear ya....but I just hate the thought of pulling the heads for just the releases and it just isn't in the budget to do what I want this year......decisions, decisions.
I need releases in a bad way to but I don't really want to have manuals and ACRs seem expensive or atleast the tools are so I figure the work is expensive at the dealer. I also don't want to lose my nice head bolt bridge cover things if I go manuals. Manuals may be what I end up with though. If you have stock heads now why not switch to the new ACR heads and have them ported?
The link says they modify plugs to work with these. They use NGK and Autolite, additional plugs are $25 a piece. If it moves the electrode up in the hole at all I would say no go. I think you would run into issues with that. The plug needs to be in the hole firing not up in a hole.
