I just ordered the tweeters. I should have them in next week.

You will really notice the difference, the tweeter pod really brings the sound to life.
Very, very happy with mine.

I second this. I have the pods with Biketronics 6.5 (Hogtunes previously) and an Alpine head unit.

Another option maybe to call PEZ atHt and price the pod without the teeters or.buiy in x-crossovers; just the pod, install parts. You can buy components and put the tweeter in the HogPod. Not all tweeters will fit; I used Hybrid Technology Unity 6.5--works great.

I have the whole hogtunes system, fairing speakers, rear speakers, tweeter pods, lower woofers, 40.4 amp and today am installing 70.2 amp. I really like the HT system sounds 100 times better than stock. Currently I have been driving the front, lowers, and tweeters with the 40.4 amp and it rocks, but today when I add the 70.2 amp I am going to drive the fronts, rears, and tweets with the 40.4 and drive the lowers with the 70.2. can't wait and yea you loose a little bass but the sound is clean clear and loud.

I have the pods with Fosgate speakers in the fairing and in the CVO Lowers. Looking at the pic you can see how the fairing speakers are blocked with the bars, but the pod brings the sound up right at my face. Makes a big difference.

Default wind shield

Kryingame, yes that is the 7" wind splitter. Being 5'7" it works well for me and I like the style of it. If you are any taller, you may need to go with a taller wind shield. I believe they also have it in 11" but not sure. Hope this helps.

I really like the Hogtune pods. Only problem is I already have Alpine components. Can anybody clarify if Alpine 1" tweets can fit in the pod?

I had the HD dash pad on my 07, prior to the tweeter pod and loved the look of the dash pad. Instead of having the tweeter pad painted to match inner fairing like everyone else, I had it covered in black leather with stitching to match the HD dash pad. Got lots of attention & was one of a kind!
Hate the look of the pods on the Road Glides though.

Like the leather wrapping. Nice touch. You learn something new everyday on this forum. Great Idea.
