I love the CC. It is a bit strange at first but you grow to love it quickly. Even so, it still kind of freaks me out when I take my hand off the throttle and the bike maintains speed. But I use it often.
Count me as one of the CC and HD Air Pump users, I use the cruise all the time, really surprised the wife the first time I squeezed her right leg going down the interstate at 70, it is nice to be able to rest the right hand. I have 2 air compressers we use in our race car shop and i am not comfortable using them accurately at such low pressures. The HD pump is easy to use.
get the cruise control,....it's one of the single best investments on my EGC I made,....it's just makes sense and works GREAT!
You'll have no regrets. However,....I would'nt advise doing it yourself. Have a Harley tech do it for you and you'll never look back
