Thumbs up EZ Up Stand!

On my first Road King I purchased the HD Centerstand. I had issues with it from day one. Had to grind one foot down so that it didn't contact the pipes under the bike. Later on it got some dirt/grit in it and I could never get it to work properly again. I also discovered that the legs were not attached together, one would swing up completely and the other would hang down some. Bad design.

After that experience and trading to the Anniversary Road King, I had just accepted the fact that I would have to go without a centerstand. Last week I read on this forum about the EZ Up Stand. After more research and visiting their website I purchased one. Went over to my neighbor's heated garage where my bike is stored yesterday and proceeded to put on the new stand. I was finished before I ever got started. WOW! This thing goes on fast and is bolted to the frame. The HD stand was held on by 3 small set screws, not good in my opinion.

After installation I got on my bike and with little to now effort my bike was on a stand. This stand is a dream! Tested it on and off the bike and all functions are awesome. I especially like the heavy duty construction and black powder coat finish. All you see is the chrome peg that sticks out to push the bike up on the stand. I'm really looking forward to Spring to get out and ride, this stand has added to that excitement. My days of having a centerstand on my bike are here again! Awesome product!

I installed one about a year ago and really just started using it recently. The more I use it the better I like it. I had a hard time getting on the stand but I got that now. Still have a little trouble getting it back off the stand but I will get it. I like to use it when I fill the tank so that the tank is level and I get a little more fuel.

Also I have seen where some have had problems "scrapping" and such. The only problem I've had is real tall speed bumps but I got to where I can roll over them pretty good now. Especially when two up is when this occurs. Overall I am starting to really like mine.

I wimped out the first time I tried putting mine up while seated. Just had to trust it could be done and still not fall over. Piece of cake now.

I always put the kick stand out before lifting the bike up on the stand. At least I know if it tips over to the left it won't fall. Anyway, so far it hasn't cone to that. I like mine a lot.

Just stay on the bike and straddle it when you get gas.
No need to get off the bike to get gas to have the tank level.

Yup. Pull up on the left side of the pump and straddle the bike (I'm right handed), swipe the card, pump the gas, replace the nozzle, put the cap back on and go. Never even get off the bike.

Love the idea of this center stand. My bike seems like it wants to roll forward a bit, even on a very slight grade with the standard stand, which is unnerving to me. I'm going to order one too. Thanks for posting.
Oh yea, I often pump gas while holding the bike up, but the option to stabilize it on the EZ-Up is great.

Exactly what I do too but I have the EZ Up Stand by Wheeldock which is a much higher quality stand in my opinion. Installs in 2 minutes and the fit is perfect. Very strong stand.

I've had them on my 2008 and 2011 Ultras, one of the best add ons you can get.
