I like the contrast look myself, I think that you can go too far either way...but its your bike, do what YOU like!

What are your plans for the rest of the bike, forks, engine guard, etc?
Forks chrome ,enginge guard is going to be a black mustache bar ,the air cleaner is chrome with the black #1 on it .the signals will stay chrome with tinted lenses and red and amber led clusters, rocker box covers upper gloss black lower rocker covers chrome. I want to keep a good mix of chrome and black

Chris, the old boom audio hidden antenna sucked. The new one I hear nothing but good about it. Bottom line is hidden antennas are not going to give you the reception that a whip will. But that's coming from a guy who hasn't listened to (as someone else put it) "terrestrial radio" in at least 5 years.
Thanks for the info I think I will keep the whip I like the radio lol!!
