I have a set of "Flamethrowers" mounted on my saddlebags - (I took the stock Harley light bar off). The fellas I ride with hate 'em. Say they can't see them in daylight. I'm gonna pull them off at some point and install some flush LED's with enough brightness to be seen in the daytime.
Cool,
thank you Db. I saw them in a magazine and wondered about their brightness.
I have been thinking of ordering up something to clean up the *** end as you have done.
Not sure of the wall thickness of the bags (bike is in storage for another 4-6 weeks)but suspect it shouldn't be to hard to come up with something pretty trick.
Am going to dig a little bit at work over the next week for some intense red, or clear lensed LED's to put some arrows in or something (Ember red bike).
I use allied and mouser electronics daily so will see what is avaiable, or share if you have a source, without paying the obscured mark up some of these LED lighting retailers sell for.
Thanks again,
Bob
