Well, based on the mileage on your old bike, you're not really into long-distance touring, so get a nice looking street glide for barhopping or whatever.

Why would a Street Glide and a Road King not be considered real touring motorcycles?
Because they don't have a tour pak?
I know people who travel cross country on every type of motorcycle sold!
So why would a motorcycle that even the manufacturer puts in its touring lineup, Street Glide and Road King, be considered just bar-hoppers?
Ok, rant complete.
Dude, whatever you like and can afford is the touring motorcycle you should buy.
Be aware though, as stated in a previous post, no Road Glides (Fuglys) for 2014.
Good luck!

There's no best man, only best for you. For me, it's the road king, cause i love it, and i don't care for fairings. For others, it's an ultra cause it's super comfy, for others, street glide is what they gotta have... etc. Figure out what you want, and stop givin a **** what others think you should want, and you'll be a hell of a lot closer to happy.

I have no idea what you are talking about I didn't say they aren't touring bikes and I ride my STREET GLIDE all over the countryside. I also have a Tour Pak so you are way off lol. I said he seems more worried about looking cool so I would go with those as opposed to a true geezer glide like an Electra Glide or Ultra.... He don't need all the extras if that's the case.
Didn't you see my bike in my sig? Lol sorry just don't get it...

The low mileage is not for lack of riding on my part, it is a second hand bike, the first owner was an older man that had bad knees. I just got a super deal on it.
Which ever model fits your riding style and wallet best....
Ain't no "one best" in this category....everybody has their favorite / best,
which in all honesty probably isn't 'best' for you .
Have fun

Oh so you just bought it but are looking to part with it already correct? If that's the case just ride em all and pick that one that fits you.
