Just had back surgery on April 22nd. Mine was just through the back (Laminectomy- removed an arch on my spine and a "massive" portion of a disc that was totally blocking the nerve canal). I feel pretty good right now as the pain in my left leg is gone and the numbness is almost gone). You will be fine, the worst part is waiting for the surgery day to come. Listen to your doctor and you will come back strong! Wish you well!

good to hear surgery went well, lowrider, and to the others good luck with surgeries and recoveries. I'm grateful that I have a good back, but the arthritic knees are not so good but, so far, not so bad either.
