I know that I am not alone when I say that Winter for some folks, is just not a easy thing to get through while your ride is indoors for the winter.
Well, last week I noticed that robins were back, perhaps a beckoning of Spring? It's been below freezing and high temps 40 degrees with some flurries still forecast....grumble. Well, the roads have cleared pretty much, just gritty in places from sand trucks.
Today while working, I saw a clean Softail sitting outside and the sun was out, and tonight going home from work, someone on a bagger was definitely enjoying the opportunity to be riding even if it was dang chilly, the bike sounded GREAT!
Personally, for me, It's been too long since November when I put my bike away for the cold snow months, the sound of that bagger made me smile, and it confirmed even more than the sights of robins, that Spring is not too far away.
40's would be awesome. we had a stretch a week ago with high temps below zero. It's gotten back up into the teens now durring the day and it feels warm. man if it hit 40 i'd call in sick to go ride.
Glad you guys will be riding !
Betty the ground hog (Green Bay, Wi.) didn't see her shadow last Saturday, so were suppose to have an early spring too !......
Fellas,
I am so sorry to hear that you cant ride during the winter. Here in Florida I have only had a few days of NoCan ride. Just got home from a short put, left at 10:30 PM and never even put a jacket on.
They say we might get rain in the next few days, that's what stops me.
The crazy cagers from your area ruin it!!
I am talking about the 'Bluehairs' or as least their husbands!!
That's OK, I don't envy you come summer time. We welcome people from down south when they come up and spend lotsa money any time of year !
Cow tipping is a favorite event for most ! Come and try it....lol
Can't even imagine having the Bike sit from Nov to late Feb ..If I miss a weekend I have the Arzzz bad.... Note to self> Never again Bitch about going too far on the outward leg of a ride and getting caught without winter jacket for the ride back home. Think about my Poor friends who can't even get there garage doors open
