Riding on a dirt road my kick stand suddenly fell and started dragging.
So I held it up with a bungy cord got home and checked it out.
Turns out the anchor on the frame broke off.
HELP
awww, geeze Jerry, I would like to help ya but I have no idea of what kind of bike your riding. Is it a Harley? Maybe a Road Glide or Sportster? Each model has a different means of holding the Jiffy Stand on.
Ohhhh, there it is in your first post. An 04 Road King Classic.
You probably have a small slot in the frame and a tab on the side of the Jiffy Stand. The spring probably rusted through and fell apart. When ya go to the Harley dealer to get a new spring, ya might want to pick up an shop manual for your bike.
