Thinking about getting a Badlander seat for my 2010 street glide. Right now i have a Brawler seat which kinda puts me back too far. Does anyone know how far back & down the Badlander seat will sit you?
If it sits you the same as the Brawler seat then it's no good to me.
Have you looked into C&C? With a phone call, they will put you exactly where YOU want to be. Their choices in coverings is endless. Best seat on the market.......my $0.02
I put a badlander on my road glide. It put me back further than stock for sure and was like sitting on a board with a little gel pad on top of it. I mean it was BAD!
I put a badlander seat on my 2005 FLHTI, no rear ridge to speak of so bike almost left without me. Took the bike around the block, got home, ripped it off the bike and sold it. Needless to say lost money on that one but my fault for trying to put looks ahead of comfort and function.
I put a used FLHR on my cop bike, a 2 piece seat, I like it alot. Just had to add the filler plate to the dash. Many of the stock seats are the most comfortable seats in the first place.
You can better dial in these days with the harley seats offering so many options for shorties and stretches.
