I agree. I have a deluxe and hubby has a rkc ...
It is the only touring bike that has the classic look. Not that the fairing and hard bags aren't nice bikes they are but have a very different look to them. So for those of us who might want the touring platform but with a shield and soft bags there will be zero options ? That seems like a bad move. Maybe it will be that you get to choose hard or soft bags but it will be one model. Hope so. Seems weird to not have an option for those who aren't into hard bags. I love my deluxe but the only touring I have ever considered and test road it and the deluxe before getting my deluxe. I love the look of it.

Camp fire???
My mind is made up. Harley leaks colors to dealers early and everyone finds out. Any new model year bikes that remain the same as previous year will sometimes show up at dealers early and be hidden. But if it is a new model and/or went through drastic changes it will not show up early. Any "secrets" only get reveled at the dealer show. Which is now. I was at it last year. First time anyone got their eyes on that new CVO Blackout for example.

New do-dads sure are nice but I know for me, I have more money in my 09 SG then a CVO is worth, it's set up for my comfort, it's finally running right again and honestly, I like not having monthly payments. If HD ever comes out with a bagger with a modified V-Rod engine that can produce the required torque, I may be swayed to buy again but until then, I'll keep my 09 and push the buttons on the radio like are ancestors have done in the past.
