Default Handlebar wire gauge size??????
hoping someone can help me out here, putting ape hangers onto my bike and need to extend my wires but not to sure if they are 18 or 16 awg. phone a harley shop and they wont divulge this information hahaha pretty sad in my mind

Gosh, it's pretty damn small. I checked the NAMZ site where I bought my cable extensions and they don't say. I'm going to say its 18 awg if memory serves. Hell, its only been a couple of months!!

i would just buy the kit, cheap enough, all the wires are color coded and makes the install quick and neat.

You'll be fine with 16 or 18 awg

I just did a set this weekend...3 of the wires on the clutch side are 16 all the rest are 18...A wire extention kit is just a waste of money
