Question Progressive 412 Shocks

I have an 01 FLHTC and need to change out my air shocks for an inch lower. I was looking on Ebay and saw this post Progressive 412 Shock Heavy Duty 12" Black Harley Davidson #DS310068. They say it came off a wide glide. Would they fit my Classic?

Thanks

I've got a pair of 412-4075c for sale 140.00 shipped to your door you will need to do a search but I'm pretty sure they will fit

I have them on a 2012 FLHTC and it is better than the factory air ride. I and the passenger like them better. Got the HD model. 2nd notch. No shock is good on country roads but on the highway these are fine.

There ARE shocks available, from an HDF sponsor, that are good on country roads! There are so many threads in here on shocks it is worth spending a little time reading, to get better informed.

OP, I would look here first:
http://www.progressivesuspension.com/productsearch.aspx
I believe the 412's for the wideglide have different part number
than the ones for your 01 FLHTC.
FWIW, I'm running the 12" 412-4050B, with the HD (heavy duty)springs on my 01 road king.
Very happy with it so far.

Thanks for the resppnses.I bought theseoff Ebay for only $51 although it states they are 12" eye to eye and are for a wide glide, I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

Atleast I hope the will.

They will and I bought 12", stocks were 13". Problems may arise when you go taller regarding muffler clearance from what I understand.

Default Shocks

Thanks MarkS, I need lower shocks because I'm vertically challenged. I had 2" lowering blocks on the rear but bottoms out when I hit a **** ant. Always have problems keeping air pressure up. I hope these will fix all.
