... it goes to show there is NO replacement for cubic inch displacement!
Nice peak numbers, but I would rather see the dyno curve against rpm in lieu of mph. You didn't happen to ask for or receive the .drf file by any chance?
I just wish I had the budget for this install instead of my planned 107" ... after looking into the 120r, it is right at double my 107" budget out the door.
nice numbers, I'm going to ask a really dumb question though...how is that puppy on fuel? Once you get over the urge to constantly twist that right hand, I'd be interested to know what kind of range you could expect. Thinking about going 124 myself rather than spend the $5k I was going to spend upgrading my 96. Can't cost too much more.
I don't disagree with you Graham, I'm just curious how far I can get on a tank of fuel. Perhaps a foolish question from someone considering a 124, but there it is anyway.

The question begs to be asked...
How fast can I get there?
Eventually the mpg will be figured out, but I bet he is having to much fun right now to care !
Hope, Matt finds the time to answer the questions...
Sounds like it is fun all the same.

Texasrich> To be totally honest with you, when I filled up my 96 inch motor, the feature on the odometer "miles to empty" would be around 248-250 right after fill up.
With the 120R right after fill up it shows 230. Now with that being said, I don't know if it's accurate or just a generalization of how may miles are left till empty.
I rode to Daytona's Bike Week Friday and rode the entire weekend and back home on Sunday (155 miles each way, not including riding around town all weekend), and filled up three times, and was really never below a 1/4 tank of fuel at anytime!
As others have said the fuel mileage/consumption is really not an issue to me, since it's not my main means of transportation. I would say, it does burn a little more fuel, but not enough to take the fun out of riding it
