Ok Ok, I know the old addage of "you get what you pay for" ... Are the C&C seats REALLY worth it?
I'm looking at spending $850 just for a seat (with back rest, stitched, pillon and pillon back rest)... I mean I could spend it, but is it REALLY worth it. that thing better be comfy as hell, you know?
Just wondering. Thanks. I wish I could put my 2 year olds car seat on it cause I would be riding it now! haha
If you want to sit lower, you might want to consider having Mean City Cycles rework your seat. That's probably going to be one of the cheaper options. They can lower you and move you back. Reasonable prices and I found them very good to work with. If you're in a hurry, they do have an expedite process that'll cost you a bit extra.

Thanks, I'll have to check them out.

Love my 9" LRS recurve Ultra-
2012 with 3,376 miles for 17,200. Still has a year left on the warranty, thinking if I should get the "super" extended Harley warranty. Any suggestions on this from any body? I plan on putting some serious miles. I heard they have one that if anything happens and you get stranded they come get you and fix it asap.

Congrats on the new scoot! Welcome to the Bagger Life!
Yeah- this is where the fun beings- emptying your wallet & making the bike "yours".
First thing I did was ditch the heel shifter. Tried it for a month- just was not my thing. Lots more room on the floorboard now w/o it.
I also deep-sixed the stock windshield. I found it to blast more wind in my face than riding my Sporty- at least it felt that way! I got a LRS 7" Ultra shield. I can see over it great and don't feel it is too tall.
I also added some Hawg Wings from LRS. I found these two things have almost completely solved the excessive turbulence.
I just got my Mustang Solo Wide Tripper w/backrest last night, but haven't put it on. That little gem goes on tonight & will be giving it a shake down cruise tomorrow. It looks really comfy & appears it will sit me down further "into" the bike.
Enjoy your new ride Brother!
