Had it red on my 06 and going Chrome yellow on this one. Some had said they thought it would be to much yellow but I think it will be great. I am also am adding the dash pad and chrome fairing mirrors.

My 2011 RGU is brilliant silver pearl. I too was concerned that a silver inner fairing would be too much so I went with black. But just to make it a little different ,I went with midnight pearl rather than vivid black. All the pearl in it gives the black some pop and sizzle in the sun, and looks killer with the silver on the rest of the bike. So even if you don't go red...you don't have to go plain black either!

I had mine painted Dark Cherry (to match bike two tone Dark Cherry and Silver) on my 07 Ultra. Looks great and much better look than that dull plain black finish.

Mine is Gold Rush and I am digging it! Had Black inner on my 2011 FLHTK and liked that too. I say go for it! My one buddy has a 2011 Psycodelik Purple and black FLHTCU with the inner fairing Purple and my Brother in law has a 2009 FLHTCU in two tone root beer with his inner in the dark root beer and they both like it a lot too!
