Default Cant ID part...

I am looking for the black plate that has a curve or "U" at the end. It is attached to the outer fairing skirt and is essentially an second wind deflector... Anyone know what I am talking about.

Do you mean this: http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/179...Wind-Deflector Lower Triple Tree wind deflector? Kuryakyn # 1100, Harley has one also Chrome Front Fork Air Baffle PN 58520-79TC

Or perhaps you mean this: Black Fairing Air Deflector PN 58568-98A that attaches to the sides of the batwing fairing?

HD also makes a set of adjustable batwing air deflectors PN 58166-08A.

If what you're looking for isn't one of the above, give us some more info and a more detailed description please.

Cool

Welcome to HDF from the UK.

Do I know what you're talking about? Well no! Is it for your bike and if so what model and year is it?

If it is a stock part and you want a replacement take it to your local friendly dealer, where they will identify and replace it. You may be able to find it yourself on Ronnies HD microfiche, where you can see the illustrated parts list for your bike. If it is an add-on factory accessory, go to Harley's website, where you can see their catalogue of parts. Hope that helps.

I don't think it's offered in black any more, but here is the HD chrome one:
