Avon grip problems?

Avon grip problems?
Ok I have installed 13" Prime Apes got the thottle cable adjusted but no matter how I adjust the idle cable the thottle hangs up if I losing the control housing the thottle will sometimes snap back. I have done bar swap and grip swaps many times and never ran into this before I am starting to think the grip maybe hanging up in the control housing has anyone ever ran into this?

I just put Avon grips on mine and the throttle kept hanging up. It was binding up on the end of the bar, grip was a tad shorter than the stock one. Moved the entire switch (4 screws) assembly out towards the end and walla their you have it, snaps back perfect every time.

For some reason Avon grips are either longer or shorter than the stock grips, never the same size. Every pair I have put on I have had to adjust were the controls are on the bars. Luckily it's an easy fix.
