Just had an iPod inerface installed on my 2006 Electraglide Custom and while riding noticed the volume level for the iPod was about 60%of what the radio or CD is at same settings. Is anyone aware of a input volume adjustment and how to reset it? Dealership who installed it was little help as tech "did not own an iPod"....
Not to sure what your asking but i've installed the on the move technology ipod interface.Your mp3 player does have a volume output adjustment set so it matches radio output volume.
It could be some of the files on your iPod. When your iPod is connected to iTunes, you can select all of the files and set the playback volume to 150%. This is a big help. Another thing, and some have said it does not make a difference but I disagree, is to use higher sampling rates. I use to use 256, but anymore I use Apple Lossless. This ended up saving me the money I was going to use on an amp.
If they're actual iTunes downloads, the playback volume trick will work. If they're songs that were attained by "other means" you may be SOL. The quality of the file may just be a poor recording. You might get some more volume with the iTunes playback volume adjust, but those particular songs will always be quieter than the others

This looks promissing but can you help me find this function? And do you do it while looking at teh iPod file list or main library?
