I did something similar in flames a few years back. I didn't last, looked like crap in less time than it took to install it. Didn't completely adhere to the lexan seemed to always shift position. Hopefully there has been a upgrade in material.
Vinyl decals have been around for some time but as others have said, usually dont work too well. Ive seen chrome stuff used on show bikes. Once 3M made a window tint specifically for boat plastic windows, no idea if its still around.
But...we own HDs so its cool to fool around with different things to make our bikes different than the rest.
