Well, like a senior citizen (I do qualify now, bummer) I forgot my custom rear axle nut wrench. It is a modified 1 3/8 box/open end wrench. The drive belt was too loose for comfort, so off to Harbor freight close to my winter home.
Purchased a 15 inch adjustable wrench for 15.99. Take off the side bags and mufflers, adjust, reassemble! Total time, about 20 minutes. total tools needed; 9/16 wrench or socket, 1/2 inch wrench or socket, 15 inch adjustable wrench. Oh, and a calibrated middle finger to check tension!
