if there is a cycle dealer near you they should have some,, dirt bikers are always using it
I was told at the track once to try wd-40, no glue around,,, it worked but ya gotta wait till it evaporates and sticks
go to any auto parts store and pick up some 3-m weather stripping cement (aka gorilla snot). this is the yellow tacky glue that you apply to both parts, let dry, then affix. great stuff andwill work. just clean up the bar and grip as best you can prior to putting this stuff on. good luck
This is the glue to use! I did my softail with it, read the distructions! Let the glue dry on the bars finger some into the grip (some may think this is fun) slid it on let it dry over night and it will not come off- ever! The glue is not that expensive and you can use it for a whole lot!!

We used to use Breck hair spray. LOL, thinking back...remember how a womans hair used to feel after they used that crap on their hair???lol The old kind worked great, but I wouldn't use it today. I've found the best stuff today is the cycle grip. Cheap and easy, but better be quick putting the grip on cuz it sets up real quick.
