Not too many pics of these to be found so I thought I'd post them up.
For those who always want to know how far you can go with the stock cables....I'd say this is about the limit.
Left the wires external for now til I decide whether I like them or not......so far the height is perfect but they need to be pulled back a bit farther to me and they are as far back as they will go with the stock brake cable.
I was thinking of putting 12" apes on my "00 FLTR. I was holding off because I was told that the wires etc. have to be extended. Can you turn lock to lock with no binding? Do you have to reroute the wires or clutch cable? Looks good, makes me want to do mine.
Damn I have never seen 12 foot apes, thanks for sharing!!!
Oh fer cying out loud....gotta be a smart *** in every bunch....
It'd be nice if you could edit thread titles lol

The local indy who did them said a bit of creative routing was needed.
Turning lock to lock the clutch cable is plenty long enough to reach but wanted to get caught up on the windshield bracket mounts so a little zip tie was necessary to keep it from getting in front of the brackets when turning left. It will do until I either extend the cables or just get a handlebar mounted cable bracket. The brake line is stretched to the max and does not look very good ......will definitely have to be extended if I keep the bars but it does not move when turning.
