Can I weld in 12mm bungs for stock O2 sensors next to the collector in the stock location of my Limited. The 09 head pipe is a pretty good pipe and has 18mm bungs at the inlet next to the heads. I do not want to by new wide band sensors that would reach the heads.
This is my traveling bike only and don't want to dump a lot of money in it just want to get rid of the cat and mybe boost performance on the cheap.
I already have a Power Vision and Fuel Moto 2-1-2 pipe on my 12 FLHXSE3 that is my around town short short hop bike.
I figure if I buy a second license for the PV, put on a Fuel Moto stage one AC and the 09 head pipe with a map from Fuel Moto then I should be good to go. I already have the 09 head pipe.
I don't see why not. I did the opposite. I have a 2011 fullsac x-pipe with 12mm bungs, I bought the 18mm bungs and had them welded in the correct location to make it work on my 2009 EG. It works fine.
